Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Grademe, an online coding-practice and grading service operated by Glassfull.

Last updatedMay 16, 2026

1. Operator and scope

Grademe is operated by GLASSFULL, a French simplified single-shareholder company (SASU) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under SIREN 992 175 380.

These Terms apply to the websites currently made available at grademe.fr and beta.grademe.fr, together with the related coding interface, grading flows, user account features, and any associated online services we make available under the Grademe brand.

Unless expressly stated otherwise inside the Service, the Service is provided free of charge. Nothing in these Terms obliges Glassfull to keep any feature free forever or to keep any specific feature available for any minimum period.

2. No affiliation statement

Grademe is an independent training product. Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, Grademe is not sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or officially affiliated with any school, university, employer, certification body, or examination organizer.

The Service is intended as a practice environment for programming skills, not as an official examination platform or an official representation of any third-party exam.

Grademe may cover standard programming concepts, common algorithmic exercises, or generally known software-engineering patterns. Any similarity between such concepts and third-party teaching methods, curricula, or examination styles does not imply any partnership, endorsement, authorization, or source relationship. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Grademe materials are selected, arranged, written, adapted, and presented by Glassfull for independent training purposes.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may browse public parts of the Service without creating an account. Certain features, including saved progress, grading persistence, and challenge history, require an account.

The Service is intended for users aged 15 or older. If you are under 15, you may use Grademe only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where applicable law permits such use.

When you create an account or sign in, you must provide accurate information and keep your login method under your control. You are responsible for activities performed through your account.

You may sign in through email-based authentication or supported identity providers. Usernames must comply with the rules displayed in the product and may be refused, changed, or removed if they are unlawful, misleading, abusive, impersonating, or otherwise inappropriate.

4. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only in ways that do not interfere with the integrity, security, or normal operation of the platform.

  • attempting to bypass, disable, probe, or exploit security controls or isolation layers;
  • attempting to access hidden tests, hidden grading logic, private manifests, internal endpoints, or non-public data;
  • attempting to reverse engineer, benchmark for extraction purposes, decompile, reproduce, or map the grader, execution environment, or anti-abuse controls beyond ordinary permitted use of the Service;
  • performing vulnerability scans, fuzzing, penetration testing, denial-of-service testing, or load testing against the Service without Glassfull’s prior written authorization;
  • submitting malware, destructive payloads, denial-of-service traffic, or abuse scripts;
  • using bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated means to index, extract, mirror, or bulk-copy the Service in a way that exceeds ordinary personal use;
  • copying, exporting, or reusing substantial parts of the exercise corpus, examples, test cases, hidden tests, grader behavior, solution patterns, or product structure in order to build or feed a competing or mirrored service;
  • infringing third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • uploading secrets, credentials, or confidential material you are not allowed to share;
  • using the Service to distribute unlawful, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent content.

We may investigate abuse, rate-limit requests, reject submissions, suspend access, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, other users, or Glassfull.

If you identify a potential security issue, you must act in good faith and avoid any action that would harm the Service, other users, or Glassfull. Please report the issue promptly to ask@glassfull.fr. Public disclosure, exploit publication, or active testing against production systems without prior written approval is not authorized under these Terms.

5. Your code, submissions, and license

As between you and Glassfull, you retain whatever rights you hold in the code, text, files, and other material you submit to the Service.

By submitting material to the Service, you grant Glassfull a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for the limited purpose of hosting, reproducing, storing, executing, analyzing, transmitting, displaying to you, debugging, securing, and otherwise operating the Service. This license exists only to run the product and to provide the features you request.

You represent that you are entitled to submit the material you upload. Do not submit code or files containing personal secrets, production credentials, or confidential third-party information unless you are fully authorized to do so.

6. Grading environment and beta nature

Grademe executes user submissions in controlled technical environments in order to compile, run, test, and grade them. Even with technical safeguards, no online execution environment can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, bug-free, or perfectly identical to every local machine or every third-party environment.

Some parts of the Service are still evolving. Features, exercise catalogs, grading rules, UI, scoring, and availability may change at any time, including without notice, when reasonably necessary for product development, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or infrastructure stability.

7. Intellectual property in the Service

The Grademe brand, visual identity, site design, original editorial content, and product-specific materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed by law, you may not copy, resell, publicly redistribute, or create a competing mirrored service from Grademe content or product assets without prior written permission.

This protection extends, where legally applicable, to the structure and arrangement of the Service, non-public grader behavior, exercise selection and presentation, examples, solution expectations, hidden tests, documentation, and the Grademe product identity. You may not reproduce these elements in a way that copies, clones, or commercially exploits the Service or a substantial part of it.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Grademe intellectual property to you.

8. Availability, suspension, and termination

We may suspend or restrict access to some or all of the Service, with or without prior notice, when reasonably required for maintenance, security, abuse handling, legal compliance, or operational changes.

We may terminate or suspend your access if you materially breach these Terms or if your use creates a significant risk for the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Attempts to attack, probe, copy, mirror, or systematically extract the Service, or to interfere with its grading or security mechanisms, may lead to immediate suspension, account termination, content removal, and any other action reasonably necessary to protect Glassfull and the Service.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Glassfull does not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for any specific educational or professional purpose. Grademe is a practice and tooling service; it is not legal advice, academic certification, employment advice, or a promise of examination results.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross misconduct where exclusion is not permitted.

Subject to the previous paragraph, Glassfull will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, opportunity, goodwill, or data arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Where the law allows a contractual limitation, Glassfull’s aggregate liability in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of one hundred euros (EUR 100) or the amount you paid to Glassfull for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Privacy and personal data

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that certain data is processed in order to authenticate you, operate the platform, persist your progress, and secure the product.

Requests relating to privacy rights or account deletion may be sent to ask@glassfull.fr.

If you believe content or behavior on the Service violates your rights, please contact us at ask@glassfull.fr.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the laws of your habitual place of residence.

For users acting in the course of a business activity, and subject to any applicable mandatory law, disputes relating to the Service shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that consumers may have under mandatory applicable law, including any right to bring proceedings before a court that would be competent under consumer-protection rules.

13. Changes to these Terms

Glassfull may modify these Terms from time to time, in particular to reflect changes to the Service, new features, legal or regulatory requirements, security needs, or operational practices.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page. Where the changes are material, we will use reasonable means to draw your attention to them, for example through an in-product notice, an email to the address associated with your account, or a banner on the Service.

The updated Terms take effect on the date indicated at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and you may close your account by contacting ask@glassfull.fr.

Changes will not apply retroactively to disputes or facts that arose before the effective date of the update, except where required by mandatory applicable law.
